Kingdom League Week 4 Headlines; Week 5 Schedule; Who Were the Stars, Top Teams Last Week?

 Here are the Week 4 Headlines  from the Kingdom Summer League 


KINGDOM UPSETS COMMITTED AS SWAIN, MADDOX DOMINATE

COMMITTED TO MY CRAFT was moving towards a 4-0 season until halftime. That is when Dailyn Swain erupted to bring back KINGDOM 614 to a big win.


 Swain would end up with 36pts,13 reb, and 5 stls while Dante Maddox would drop 31 points with 5 boards in the win.  

With the win KINDGOM moves to 1-3 on the season while COMMITTED falls to 3-1 on the season. COMMITTED was led by Mike Imariagbe who had 27 & 9 on the night. 


SIMPYS STAYS UNDEFEATED, GRABS SOLE POSSESSION OF 1ST PLACE 


SIMPYS PLAYHOUSE used its top tier play from Paul Mcmillan IV to jump start the team giving them a early lead en route to a tough win over GOD DID. SIMPYS would have 5 guys in double figures.

 Darweshi Hunter, possibly the top shooter and scorer in the League, kept GOD DID in the game as he dropped 36 pts, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. 

However Terry Durham (27 & 12), Virgil Lackey (15 & 10), & Keliese Frye (17 & 10) proved to be too much inside for GOD DID. 

With the win SIMPYS is the only undefeated team left in the League. 


QCP FALLS TO MAYSVILLE IN FINAL MINUTES; MINERS STAY 1 GAME OUT OF 1ST PLACE


MARYSVILLE (3-1) rode the hot hands of Melo Hunter (20), Jakada Stone (16), and Kam Moore (16) to a clutch victory over QCP. Both teams were on a 2-game winning streak entering the game.

QCP (2-2) was leading in the 3rd buy MARYSVILLE shifted the gears late to a big win. 

QCP was lead by Khalil Davis (20) and Charles Singleton (19) while Vince Edwards nearly had a triple double.


RED SCARE BOUNCE BACK BEHIND BALANCED EFFORT, DROP CINCINNATI WARRIORS

The RED SCARE bounced back after a tough loss to defeat the CINCINNATI WARRIORS 104-90. 

The RED SCARE had 6 guys in double figures, with Corey Long leading the way (27) and Josh Davenport also in on the heavy lifting (19). 

The WARRIORS were led by Michael Davenport (22-6-6) & Ashton Bailey with 17 & 7. 

The RED SCARE move to 2-2 while the WARRIORS fall to 2-2.
