Powell Brothers to Be Featured on 50 Years of Dayton Hoops

 Alfred and Albert Powell, two of the greatest coaches in Dayton sports history, will be featured on the series 50 Years of Dayton Hoops Sunday.

The Powell Brothers have coached for the Dunbar Wolverines and other programs for over 30 years.

They will talk about the great ballers and teams of the 60s & 70s, the Dunbar tradition, how the game has changed, and much more. 

The Powell Brothers have been apart of over 20 state championship teams, and have coached some of the best players in Dayton basketball history.


The show will air on ABC Sunday (11am) and will re-air on YouTube and Spotify later in the week.

Dale Ellis to Work With Youth Today at Harbor Hill

NBA VETERANS DALE ELLIS, CHRIS CHILDS TO WORK WITH YOUTH IN NEW YORK

Dale Ellis, one of the greatest 3-point shooters in NBA history, will be working a series of events &  camps in the New York area and throughout the country, starting this week.

Ellis, who has been working and hosting youth  camps for the last 20 years, will be in the New York area today for the Harbor Hill Picnic. 

Ellis was one of the deadliest shooters in the 80s and 90s as he went head to head with Larry Bird, Reggie Miller, and other elite shooters during those times. 

Ellis was also a NBA All-Star and key figure on some very successful Seattle Supersonic teams in the 80s and 90s. 


Ellis and Chris Childs, former New York Knick, will be hosting some shooting events and competition for the event. 


The event is from 5-7 and is for the Harbor Hill community only.

Ellis will also be a special guest on the rising sports show S.E.Live365 in which Ellis will talk NBA Finals and provide his analysis on the series.
