Top 5 High School Football Games in the MIAMI VALLEY

SportsEffectLive.com knows that when it starts gettin dark before 9 and the leaves start to change, its football time. And last year, High School Football was possibly its best ever in the Miami Valley with teams winning championships, players going to top level colleges and even teams being ranked in the top 25 nationally (Trotwood-Madison). SELIVE HOT 5 GAMES OF WEEK 1 in HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

(1) Trotwood-Madison vs. University (Fla.), 3 p.m., ESPN
   The Rams won it all last year, and in doing so, established themselves as a dynasty in the making; Only question is, will they be able to become possibly one the best teams in the country? This game on Sunday will go a long way to proving the Rams belong.

(2) Alter at Fairmont, WING-AM (1410), 1610.info, ohiosportsline.net
      This rivalry will be renewed once again tonight as the Knights look to bounce back from a magical regular season only to be stumped by Thurgood Marshall in the first round of the playoffs.

(3) CJ at Troy, 1570wptw.com, PressProsMagazine.com
      This matchup will feature two teams who made it to the postseason, with C-J going on a huge run, while Troy was consistently good all last year. Both teams return high college level talent.

(4) Middletown vs. St. Xavier, 8:30 p.m., TWC Ch. 99
     Middies will match their top running game against St. X stubborn D and uptempo offense. Both of these teams will be playoff bound for this season.

     Will Wayne bounce back this season and maybe get into the elite category when Braxton Miller was there? Winton Woods will be ready
     
BONUS GAME: Valley View vs. Dunbar, 8 p.m., WPFB-FM (105.9), CindaySports.com
     This game features two different teams, but both like to run. Dunbar will look to shake it up and watch out for a good year from the Wolves this season.
