Clark State Mens Team "Performs Well" in First Scrimmage On the Road Under New Head Coach

The Clark State mens basketball team went on the road to start their season with new head coach Quinton Alstork and the staff leading the 2023-24 Eagles season.

In a multi-team scrimmage at Owens Community College, Clark State left out with wins in all three scrimmages to leave the exhibition undefeated and the coaching staff feeling positive.

Clark State would face Tera College, Lansing Community College and Dohn Prep on the day.

In one of the games, Clark State was down 20 points at one point in the scrimmage, only to come back and win the game.

Coach Alstork was proud of what he saw in the first scrimmage.

"To come up here and go undefeated without all of our players, especially after being down 20 in a game? We was proud and encouraged in what we saw today."

When asked who were some of the key players in the scrimmage, the names Will Hill, Recio Diaz, Mo Fantana and Chris Herbot came to mind.

"Those guys played well for us." Alstork stated.
