Ram Nation Readies For Huge Battle vs Winton Woods as Top Player Comes to Town; Will Rams Dominate on Alumni Night?

The Trotwood Rams have had a very good season by all accounts, but for the Rams, there is only one goal.

Reach the State.

Today, there will be a stern test as they face one of the top players in the state today as Winton Woods comes to Trotwod.

Two programs who are familiar with each other, as they played in football, basketball and other sports recently.

Both programs have achieved success as the highest level, with both winning State titles in the 20s.

Today, with alumni night on display, expect a even more frenetic atmosphere at Trotwood.

Pac Man Jones was literally kicked out as the Withrow Tigers visited a week or so ago.

Winton Woods comes into the season at 13-1, ranked in the state and facing All-State and  Cincinnati commit Tyler Mckinney, who is averaging 20ppg, nearly 10rpg, and has scored in double figures every single game. One of the best players in Ohio easily.

The varsity game starts at 6pm at Trotwood HS.

Clark State Recap: Eagles Masteller 40 Ball Leads To Big Road Win; Keeps Clark State in Hunt For OCCAC Title; Faces Edison State Wednesday

 Clark State Hoop Recap:

Eagles Masteller 40 Ball Leads To Big Road Win; Keeps Clark State in Hunt For OCCAC Title;

Faces Edison State in Huge Rivalry Game Wednesday

Isaiah Masteller, a freshman guard - forward from Anna HS, has been a solid contributor all season.

However this week, Masteller tapped into his inner Kobe Bryant with some numbers that helped Clark State end a 2-game losing streak and keep the Eagles within striking distance for a OCCAC title.

Masteller, a 6'3 wing player, dropped 51 points in a tough road loss at Hocking earlier in the week, on 16-24 shooting nevertheless.

Last weekend he was able to lead the Eagles to a gritty 99-90 win at Bryant & Stratton College.

Masteller dropped 40 points, and even more importantly, secured the Eagles a spot in a huge rivalry matchup on Wednesday vs Edison State.

The Eagles sit at 6-2 in the OCCAC, 1GB behind Edison State (7-1), who they will face Wednesday night in Piqua. Lakeland is 6-0 and sits at the top of the Standings.

"Masteller has been unbelievable for us lately." Coach Alstork stated.  "We really needed his production to step up, and he has leveled his game up every week. As a freshman he has been phenomenal."

This is a big stretch for the Eagles, who are one winning streak away from being at the top of the league.

They will face Edison State on the road Wednesday  before hosting a huge home stretch that includes the likes of Hocking, Lakeland and Cuyahoga.

"This will be a tough stretch, but we want to be in the Top 3 so we can get to the Regional Tournament. We've worked hard and we will fight." These guys are resilient." Alstork stated.
