Top 25 Scouts March Madness Tourney Impresses; Top National Teams, Players Show Out In Indy

Top 25 Scouts March Madness Tourney Impresses; Top National Teams, Players Show Up in Indy

Top25Scouts.com put on their first ever AAU-Style Tournament at Best Choice Fieldhouse in Fisher, Indiana, just 15 minutes away from Indianapolis. With divisions ranging from 1st grade up to 8th grade, it was teams from all over the country, with well over 100 teams attending the event.

And by all accounts, the event was a overwhelming success, as we talked to players, coaches, parents, fans, and the Fieldhouse Staff and they all responded with high praise for the Top25Scouts.com event and staff.

Here are the Tournament Winners and MVPs of each grade:

1st Grade Hoosier 2032 (MVP- Camden Day, Indiana) Day, the brightest young hoosier in the building, was brilliant in leading his team to the title.

2nd Grade: Hoosier 2031 (MVP: Amos Littles, Indiana)  Littles will be a force as he continues to develop. He did some serious damage for Hoosier 2031.

3rd: Team BNU (Ohio) 2030 (MVP: Dominque Hollowell, Indiana) Hollowell did major work in leading the Dayton, Ohio formed BNU squad to the chip.

4th: Team BNU (MVP: William Peagler, Ohio) Peagler was simply unstoppable this weekend as BNU continued their Championship ways knocking off some nationally ranked teams this weekend. Boys

5th: Team Teague (MVP: Judah, Indiana) Team Teague, powered by the famous Teague family with multiple guys in the NBA and a father who was on hand, took the 5th grade title as Judah showed out in front of the home crowd.

6th: Indy Premier Fam 1st (MVP: Cooper, Indiana) One of the other elite programs in the Naptown area, took the 6th grade division, as Cooper was one of a few standouts who balled for Indy Premier Fam 1st squad.

7th: The Family (MVP: JaQuan Stennis Jr Michigan) The Family, based out of Detroit area, came through in the clutch, as Stennis led the Michigan boys to a chip. With players standing over 6’7, this team is scary.

8th: Drice Elite 2025 (MVP: Armoni Portis, Michigan) Portis downright dominated the comp this weekend, and showed why he and Drice Elite should be racking up wins all year long in the summer hoop circuit.

Here are the Silver Bracket Winners:

3rd grade: Cincinnati TTP
4th grade: 94 Elite
5th grade: SD Prospects
6th grade: R4L Elite
7th grade: Manimal Elite
8th grade : Midwest Basketball Club

Mr. Teague, one of the Owners of Team Teague and the Factory Sports Complex in Indianapolis, and father of the Teague brothers who play in the NBA, was very impressed with the level of talent at the event.

“This was a elite tournament and it was definitely some good comp this weekend. We're glad to have played in this one.” Mr. Teague said.

With major media outlets on hand such as InTheGym Media, SELive365, Fox Sports, and T3TV, along with Slam and others, there were plenty of legitimate outlets to verify as well. Terry Holt, CEO of T3TV and partner of Top25Scouts.com, was almost speechless after the event, as he spearheaded the event, the first of its kind for Top 25 Scouts.

With locations such as Indy, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit, Minnesota, and Florida as possible future locations, Top 25 Scouts could be on the move all year long.

“Man, I don’t know what to say but thanks to all that are supporting us. We appreciate you and god bless you,” an emotional Holt said before putting his hands together to pray and thank the gods.

Patient Patton Proves He’s No Fluke as Cleveland State in Championship Game

Patient Patton Proves He’s No Fluke as Vikings in Championship Game

Snubbed Star Has Vikings, His Career, In Good Spot By Deon Cash

Cleveland State Star G-F Torrey Patton was used to being overlooked, as he went into his final weekend of his high school career at Trotwood High School with nearly no offers.

Since that moment Patton has been on a roller coaster of a ride. He would:

(1) Set the record for most points scored in OHSAA D-2 State Championship Game History in a loss to LeBrons old school.

 (2) He then would sign with Akron after local teams fallback.

 (3) He would transfer to a JUCO after a year at Akron, where he would regain his swagger and be a All-American.

(4) He would sign at Cleveland State after local teams Wright State and Dayton looked past him again.

 (5) He was snubbed off the All Horizon League last year which pissed him off.

(6) His team was picked to be nowhere near the Championship before the season started.

Patton, one of the softest spoken people you will ever meet, understands all of the circumstances, and is able to compartmentalize it, which is why, when the Vikings are down late, they never panic.

The team is intense, but late in the game, they take on Patton’s personality, and you see the real savage in Patton.

Patton wont wow you with athleticism. But he will wow you with his toughness and his intelligence, and his great knack for scoring in big moments.

He also is a jack of all trades, as evidenced of himself being the leading rebounder on the team, as he had a game high 13 yesterday to go with the game high 14 points.

Bear in mind that Patton is 6’5. He’s a combo guard and small forward.

Patton, who did garner votes for player of the year, is best when everything is on the line, which is why he has really caught the eyes of a few NBA Scouts.

He’s the top scorer in late game and tie/ go ahead situations in the entire Horizon League.

No matter what happens with Patton’s Vikings in the Horizon League Championship game, Patton has shown that:

 (1) If u snub him, or look past him, you will pay.

(2) He has been a true professional in handling his business.

Case in point: The Vikings looked like they were done in the Horizon League Semifinals against Milwaukee, until Patton hot going, along with others. They came back late, won the final 5 minutes of the game, and now sit patiently and quietly in the Championship.

I wouldn’t bet against this guy.

Now people seeing why LeBron almost hand picked him to play at Akron.

Good luck to Patton and the Vikings as they go for a NCAA Berth.
