What did Katt Williams say about All-Star Game? Silva vs Bones Jones UFC? Why Ray Allen really left Celtics

With the 4th of July being celebrated all througout the weekend, it was plenty of fireworks still left in the building. With that being said, lets take a look at the SELIVE Hot 5 Sporting Events of the weekend:
(1) Serena, Federer win; Hometown hero Murray loses in Finals
Serena Williams celebrates 5th Wimbledon
Federer pumped up
When Serena almost lost her life a while ago, people probably took it as "Serena will be alright", & "oh she's got a minor injury or illness." But when I watched Serena come back to show why she's the BEST WOMENS TENNIS PLAYER EVER in winning her 5th Wimbledon, one thing was evident; She had found her love for the game again...When she rallied to make it to the Finals after looking like she might lose in the Semis, there was a look of appreciation and happiness I don't think I had seen from her in years...And while Roger Federer knocked off English hero Andy Murray - again- to tie the record for the most Wimbledon Championships - ever - he also had the look of a player who was once great, and wasn't sure if he would find it again. To the sheer hate of Murray, his faithful fans and Englishmen who had craved for a local to slay one of the mighty three (Federer, Nadal, Djokcivic), especially on home turf? A re-incarnation of Amy Winehouse wouldn't be better than this! Not gonna happen captain. Federer looked as strong as ever, and sent a warning to anyone who thinks he's on the downslope.

(2) AND1 delivers a dazzling show in Columbus; Dominique White shines
Anybody and everybody knows that when AND1 is in town, there will be a show of some of the greatest talent on a basketball court. If you are playing against them, you will be embarrasseed sometime or another. They are the modern day Globetrotters, and they warmed up the USA Sports Arena this weekend in Columbus during the Ribfest weekend; Not shocking is that the AND 1 squad won 147-139; What maybe shocking is that Dayton Air Striker Dominique White balled out against the AND 1 Team, dropping 32 points and hearing some "oohs and aaahs" along the way. White actually got to kick it with the AND 1 squad later that evening, and was invited to attend and play in some upcoming games nearby during the Tour. When talking to White, he was thrilled about the opportunity, and is looking forward to a breakout season with the Air Strikers this season.

(3) MLB gets ready for All-Star Game, Home Run Derby
Fielder wins Home Run Derby
Major League Baseball gets ready for its mid-season Classic, as the American and National Leagues best players battle it out; Sidenote: So that more people will watch it, the winner of the All-Star game gets home field for the World Series which is supposed to make it relevant. Which is dumb. In what All-Star game in the worlds history of sports has a All-Star game determined which team gets home field in the Championships? Like Katt Williams say..."don't worry, I'll wait." But seeing Prince Fielder against Matt Kemp in the Home Run Derby?.. Cool with that. Kudos to the Cincinnati Reds for getting three guys in (Bruce, Votto, Chapman); shoulda been at least 4, and probably 5.

(4)  Silva wins in rematch, is he best ever?
Silva has been the UFC Champion for not 3, not 4, not 5...years and only a handful of times has he been tested. One of those people (Chael Sonnen) talked, howled, hooted, low-balled, and Don Kinged his way into a rematch that people thought could actually be the demise of the champ. However what they didnt know was that while Sonnen was winning the first round, Silva was setting him up for the kill, which he did in the 2nd round. And in the finishing of Sonnen to which the trash talking Sonnen would humbly say "He's a great Champion," the only question left is: Who can actually beat Silva? And could we possibly see a Bones Jones - Silva squareoff?....Imagine the money that fight would rake in...

(5)  Ray Allen leaves Celtics, heads to South Beach
Im sure Celtics fans will ask the question, "Why Ray Ray, why?" after the best 3-pt shooter in NBA history decided to leave the Celtics. Allen decided that loyalty and South Beach was enough to sway him from coming back to Boston, heading for the beautiful sights of Miami, signing a 2-yr deal with the Heat and possibly changing the shift that the Celtics, who thought to have made some shrewd decisions this offseason (Signing JTerry and drafting Fab Melo & Jared Sullinger) which would help them propel past Americas Team (Heat). However, with Ray feeling more like the 3rd wheel,(1) losing his job to Avery Bradley, (2) being on the trade block twice, and (3) beefin with Rondo and Pierce, RayRay had enough. So now every Boston fan who rooted for and looked to see Allens jersey in the rafters in Boston will want to spit on him now as he drops 3 after 3 in the South Beach red. Oh for the love of free agency.
