PACO, City of Dayton Readies For Hispanic Festival Today
With the Hispanic Festival in town this weekend, Karla Knox-Gordon is one of the main movers and shakers in setting up the event, which, for all intent and purposes, is one of the last huge festival in Downtown Dayton for the calendar year.
Knox Gordon came on the Dayton 24-7 Sports Podcast to talk about the huge event.
"With this being the 22nd year, it has really grown, especially in the last 5-10 years. We as PACO (Puerto Rican) are blessed to be apart of the rising event." Knox-Gordon stated.

Knox Gordon has been the president of PACO for a few years now, and has done a great job of elevating its status and progess in that time as well.
"I'm very happy with the growth of PACO (Puerto Rican, American, Carribean Organization) and what we have done as a organization in the last few years."
The Hispanic Festival will be from 11am -11pm and will feature a variety of music acts, performances, vendors, food, a huge dancing platform, and all types of entertainment for all ages to enjoy.
There will be the signature pre-game parade which kicks off at noon.
The Hispanic festival is normally held primarily at the Riverscape location, but due to its growth, it has been expanded to other parts of downtown Dayton as well. It still will be centralized at Riverscape.
