Thomasson Jr. Continues To Win as Maccabi Tel Aviv Battles for Israeli Championship Today

Thomasson Jr. Continues To Win as Maccabi Tel Aviv Battles for Israeli Championship Today

Joe Thomasson Jr, one of the top Basketball players from Ohio, is doing it again.

Thomasson Jr. is helping lead the famed Maccabi Tel Aviv squad to a possible championship after joining the team earlier in the season.

Thomasson has been a quintessential leader and combo guard for hire for the powerhouse located in Europe.

Today they will battle for the Israeli Championship as they will face Haopel Tel Aviv today. The series is tied 1-1.

Thomasson has had a great career, but the last few seasons has been something of legends.

Thomasson has played in Poland, Turkey, Spain, Greece, and now Israel. He also had a spot on the Georgian National team.

And not only is he playing, but nearly every single year he has won either a cup or a championship for his team.

Just two years ago a legitimate top tier NBA Agent came to Thomasson with the hopes of signing him.

But Thomasson turned down the agent, feeling like he was certain that the route he was about to take was the right one.

And it has been the right decision, no question about it.

And along with it, Thomasson has elevated to one of the top players in the world.

Thomasson was picked up mid-season to go to Maccabi, as they felt like they needed a "Shooter For Hire" for their championship run.

And Thomasson Jr. has provided quality production throughout the season.

Going into the Championship series against Hapoel Tel Aviv Maccabi was 28-4 this season while Haopel was 21-8.

The championship game will start at 2pm ET, which is 8pm in Israeli Time.

Thomasson has been a hired gun and they will need his help to secure the championship today.

Good luck to Thomasson Jr. and his family as the Dayton native and father tries to do what very few have achieved.
