Clark State Men Hoops Starts New Year With a Big Road Win at Lorain
Eagles Now 3-1 in OCCAC
The Clark State Eagles went on the road and started the new years right with a big victory by the score of 111-106 over Lorain County Community College.
With the win Clark State sits at 3-1 in the OCCAC and has a legitimate chance at a conference title.
After a tough loss right before the new year and a inexplicable forfeit (due to upper management not turning in paperwork on time for a game Clark State won earlier this season) the Eagles and Head Coach Quinton Alstork felt like they needed to start off the new years on a positive note.
"These guys definitely want to be a factor in the conference title chase. They came in during the break and worked hard, and despite losing the last game and a couple of players due to injuries and grades, they have remained focused.
A big win for our program moving forward."
Alstork would say after a hard fought game.
The Eagles will have back to back home games as they will host Terra State Wednesday before taking on rival Owens Community College on Saturday.
