Clark State Women Look to Improve on Season Opening win at Rio Grande
The Clark State Women basketball team got off to a great start in route to a solid road win against Rio Grande last weekend. Coach Steinke and his Lady Eagles will take on Marian Ancillia tonight (4pm ET).
"We didnt play well early in the season opener, but we finished strong and got the w. We hope to correct that late start tonight at home." Steinke said this weekend in a brief interview.
His Lady Eagles team have high aspirations this season and legitimately have some D-1 and D-2 talent on the squad.
The game will start at 4pm ET at Clark State Gymnasium.
New Era Begins Tonight as Alstork Leads Eagles Against OU Lancaster
Quinton Alstork, the new head coach of Clark State, will lead his troops into the regular season tonight as they face O.U. Lancaster at home.
Alstork, who led the team to a 5-1 record in preseason, will look to get off to a good start tonight as well.
The game will take place immediately after the ladies game tonight. It is set to start at 6pm.
"We excited for the season to start. The team has put in a lot of hard work. Now we need to transfer that on the court this season." Alstork would say.
With his brother on the staff with him (Mark Alstork) and veteran coach Mark Parker, Alstork feels he has a great staff to start the season with.
WILDCAT WAY SERIES RESUMES DURING OHSAA PLAYOFFS AT O'CONNERS
The Wildcat Way Series resumes as Coach Maurice Douglass will bring the Cats to come and talk sports with us at O'Conners Irish Pub from 6-8pm.
Springfield took out Wayne last week and will face GWOC champions Centerville on Friday night.
Northeastern will rejoin the series as coach Buchholtz and his team enjoyed a 14-7 victory over Greenview.
The show will start around 6pm ET and end around 730pm ET.
