  The Cincinnati Bengals have had a long history of not winning key games, and with it has come in between a myriad of losing seasons as well.

While the Bengals have had a small history of winning, they haven't been able to get a NFL Playoff win in over 30 years. 

However, with the talent that has been assembled over the last few years, there is a new hope with the Bengals, especially in some of the key pieces they have picked up in the last couple years. 

With the bengals literally one win away from a Super Bowl, here are some of the key pieces that helped the Bengals become a powerhouse this season and the ones they will need to beat a Kansas City team who will be rocking and ready at Arrowhead Sunday. 

You know Mahomes, Kelce, and co. will be fired up against the team who cost them a #1 seed in the final regular season game.

Here's a few of the players, who, literally, have changed the entire energy of the Bengals organization in a matter of 2 seasons:

                       

                                Joe Burrow, QB 

When the Bengals drafted the Ohio boy who done good in Louisiana, Cincinnati knew they were getting a good player, but I don't think the Bengals brass thought Burrow would do what he has done this fast. 

He's not only changed the organizational vibe, but he also jumped into different topics within the social and political fray, such as backing the Black Lives Matter movement, promoting Cigars and Cool shades, and giving dope soundbites as soon as he got to the Nati'.  

This year, he came off a injury at the end of last season and literally jumped to the top of the NFL in Completion %, 2nd in Quarterback Rating, and in the Top 5 in other major categories as well.

"Riverboat Joe" has the Bengals feelin pretty good.

 

And like we said before he ever played in the NFL:

"He will be a star and can lead the Bengals to places they haven't been in decades."

Burrow is one win away from making the Bengals feel like the LSU Tigers right now. And yes, he is arguably one of the Top 5 quarterbacks in the league.

Right now.

                         

                               Tee Higgins, WR

Higgins is a dynamic young (just turned 23) reciever who, like Burrow, came in last year after shining with Clemson during their championship runs.

Higgins had a good first year, but, like Burrow, has exploded in season 2.  Once they realized Higgins was as good as advertised?

They let go of one of the all-time Bengals in A.J. Green, making way for Higgins to become a star, which we saw this year as he amassed over 1,000 yards in the season with 74 catches to go with it and 4 TDs. Higgins had almost 1,000 last year before Burrow would get hurt.

Higgins is the 2nd option for Burrow, and has shown he has Superstar potential, standing at 6'5 with elite talent. 

                        Jackson Carman, OL 

While he hasn't flourished as some would have liked, make no mistake;

 Joe Burrow didn't get comfortable on the field until Week 2, when Carman would make his starting debut.

Carman would not only hold his own, but he would show that despite having offensive line issues, Carman would be able to hold it down for Burrow and that vaunted offensive attack.

And while he has been in and out of the starting  lineup, the facts are that the Bengals used Carman as a utility lineman of sorts, as he has played all over the line this season.  

Cincinnati had picked up other lineman in free agency, so they didn't want to rush the Meadowdale Wee Lion and guy who protected Trevor Lawrence en route to 2 championships in the last 3 years. 

They let him heal, learn, and if you noticed, who was the guy pancaking people during the playoff clinching win? 

Action Jackson. 

In the last game, the Bengals didn't play Jackson om offense and it showed: 9 allowed sacks this season, (most in Burrow career) in a gutty win nevertheless. But until Jackson is inserted back into the lineup, the Bengals will struggle on the line.

 Even if he doesn't start, they will need him to be a factor if they want to stop the 2-Time AFC champs in KC by rotating him in the group against a much better D-Line than in the early season. I hear all the grumblings about getting better lineman in the offseason. 

Jus play Jackson Carman. He's a star in waiting. And a rookie. 

While he has made his mistakes, best believe he will be playing Sunday in the biggest playoff game in 30 years. 

                       Evan McPherson, Kicker

While McPherson was ridiculed this season by experts and Bengals fans alike before the season, it wasn't his fault the Bengals selected him with the 3rd round pick. 

But in hindsight, it looks like a great selection as the former Florida Gator has been electric this season, and has hit nearly every clutch kick, notably the last two game winners, which has sent the Bengals (1) into the NFL playoffs & (2) Into the AFC Championship game with a brilliant display of clutch marksmanship. 

 "Money Mac" as he is affectionately known now, will have to be money this Sunday as well. But he has definitely earned his money this season, and as a rookie on top of that. 

And to top it off, his jersey is nowhere to be found, as the wrath of Who Dey has caught on to Macpherson and has sold out in a  brief time. 

                           Jamarr Chase, WR  

Chase was recommended by Ioey B, and what a decision that has shown to be as Chase is the best WR to come in the league in a long time. 

The experts thought they should take a lineman, but Joey B knew what he had in Jamarr. 

In the first preseason game, Jamarr had a bad night, dropping a few passes and prompting people to call him a bust and wishing for "Can't Miss OL" Penei Sewell,  which was supposed to be the smart move. 

But in game 1, Chase would show why he's literally been a MVP candidate, along with Burrow. He shredded the defense all season, and even more, he lit up the Chiefs a few weeks ago to solidify himself as the Rookie of the Year. He has been nothing short of sensational, and with it has come the "Griddy" dance, the hottest dance trend of 22 so far. 

Chase has also brung a legion of fans, which has the Bengals bandwagon bigger than any team in the NFL this year.  

Chase has a smooth vibe to him, and he and Burrow have literally taken over the League. Now every expert on Fox Sports, ESPN, and any other network is raving about the Bengals. 

Funny how a few players can change the whole mentality of a losing franchise and give it hope like it hadn't felt in over 30 years.

Dayton Legend, NBA Vet Sedric Toney Signs With SELive365

Sedric Toney, one of the greatest guards in the storied Dayton Flyer basketball history, has signed a deal to be a Star Host of one of the hottest sports brands in the country for the 2022 basketball season.  

Toney has signed with the S.E.Live365 Sports Brand and will help launch the S.E.Live365 Atlanta branch TV Series / Podcast.  

Toney, a Dayton native who has made a great name for himself in the NBA and basketball community, is ready for the next challenge to be either the Regional Director, Star Analyst or host of his own Podcast / TV Show. 

S.E.Live365 (Sports Effect Live 365) is a Sports brand originated in Dayton, Ohio, in 2009 through the Dayton Television (DATV) circuit. 

S.E.Live365 created the popular TV shows The Sports Effect (2009-now) and Dayton HS Sports (2014-now). Dayton HS Sports would win awards for the show 2 years in a row Regionally (Best Sports Entertainment Show)  (Philo Awards, 2017-2018) before turning their focus to the national TV and Radio level. 

S.E.Live365 then struck a deal with Fox Sports Radio / Iheartradio in March of 2020, only to have Covid-19 halt sports entirely for most of the 2020 year.

Nevertheless, SELive365 is back with Fox Sports / Iheartradio for year two and after a few important meetings with Fox brass, have been advised to push the show on a national level. 

Enter Toney.

Toney, a 9-year NBA veteran who was known for his lockdown defense while playing, has already worked with ESPN as a color analyst and broadcaster over the years, and still works with the NBA in different areas.

JERRY EASTER SHOW BEGINS; IS HE THE NEXT GREAT OHIO HOOPER?

 In the 80s and early 90's, two of the most famous words coming from one of the greatest Talk Shows in late night TV history, Ed McMahon would introduce the legendary host by saying: 

"Heeeeeeere's Johnny!!" 

 This would become the catch phrase for the Tonight Show featuring Carson and for the remainder of Carson's career while on the big stage and on primetime TV for the later stages.

Carson's career was, simply, elite, and he is and always be considered one of the best night time hosts ever in American television history.

How does that have to do with current freshman dynamo and "Next in Line" talent Jerry Easter as the next great Ohio hooper?

Let's take you back two years ago real quick before we enlighten you.

Jerry Easter II is the young hoop star we are talking about, and since late of 2019, it has been a real buzz about arguably the top player in the country in the 2025 class. 

When Easter was in the 7th grade, Top 25 Scouts, one of the elite youth scouting services in the country, tabbed Easter as the #1 player in the country in November of 2019.

Easter, a Toledo product, would come to the T3TV Combine in Dayton, Ohio and showcase why, in actuality, he was one of the top players in the country. In any grade.  

He would put on a absolute show, and from there, the "Jerry Easter Tour" would go full throttle.

While he was a relative unknown across the country, he was THE DIAMOND in the rough in Ohio. 

However, in the last 2 years, he has developed his game, his body, and his mind so much, that now he has UCLA, Ohio State and others banging down his door, already offering him. 

2 years ago, Easter was about 6'4. Now he's standing at nearly 6'7, with PG skills and a small forward College Style body.  Add his range, his deft touch from the field, his ability to see the game 1 or 2 steps ahead of everyone?

While some thought it was just hype, once you watch Easter,  you realize this is not a typical high schooler.

He seems to have been built for the elite run, and best believe everyone is taking notice. And I mean everyone.

Adidas reportedly has decided to partner with the SuperFriends elite youth basketball organization. While Easters' father runs the Superfriends program, there's no doubt that Easter II is the prize recruit that Adidas is wanting to connect to.

The hype is reaching incredible levels already.  

So much so, he has been and is being compared to the great Jimmy Jackson around the streets of Toldeo, who is arguably Toledo's greatest hooper of all time. 

But best believe, it's with good reason, as when you watch him? You know you're watching something special in motion.

In his first game in high school at Emmanuel Christian, Easter would almost go for a triple double in a win. 

A week later, in Atlanta at a elite High School team showcase (Holiday Hoopsgiving), Easter would land a spot on the All-Star team, actually outplaying some of the higher profiled stars and upperclassmen at the event.

While Easter takes it in stride, there is no doubt that, for the next 4 years, Easter has a chance to put his name in the OHSAA record books and beyond. Easter is a superstar in the making, and we are not hyping him up.

This is real. 

He will be among the greats when his career is over, barring any major injuries. 

With the LeBrons, the John Dieblers, Luke Kennards, Jim Jacksons, Daequan Cooks, and the other legendary hoopers who have graced the high school courts in Ohio.

T3TV Combine Does Not Dissapoint; 600+ Kids Put On at Courts 4 Sports

T3TV COMBINE DOES NOT DISSAPOINT AS 600 KIDS SHOW OUT AT COURTS 4 SPORTS

 The 2nd Annual T3TV Combine held at Courts 4 Sports in Mason, Ohio last weekend. After the results,  the Showcase is turning out to be a major event on the AAU youth radar.

Last year, it was host to about 350-400 kids.

But the previous location wasn't big enough, so Holt and the T3 squad took it to the next level.

While that was a historic moment for T3TV, it was nothing like the event this weekend, as over 600 kids pulled up and put on a show for the top youth officials, media companies, and just fans of the youth hoop game in the Cincinnati area. 

On Friday it was registration, media night, with a little  1 vs 1 action as everyone would sign up, register, and get a feel for the energy that was going to be in the building. 

The vibe on Friday was real, and there was a sense of the best of the best that were in attendance, such as Magic Mel, Tim Winkler Jr, Askia "Ski" Holloway and, of course, the #1 ranked youth 3rd grader in the country, Terry Holt III among others.

On Saturday the games were in full effect and the intensity was turned up a few notches. If you have been to a T3 event, then you know how intense the games and event truly is. 

On All-Star Sunday, there would be a variety of events to be ranked in or to have a chance to win.

With the likes of Spencer Pulliam, the youth scouting guru, and the elite amount of media in the bulding, the atmosphere was electric.

"This was a great turnout for the 2nd Combine, and Holt has something good going on here in Ohio." Pulliam would say in a exclusive interview with SELive365 at the end of the camp. 

But let's be honest: every kid at the event wants to be in the all-star games. And every parent feels that their kid is legitimate in making the teams. 

But the all-star games were special, despite the length of the process, which is already being "Tweaked" for the next combine to make it smoother and easier to navigate.

The event created one of the most high profile exposure camps ever in the Southwest Ohio region, and ultimately, T3TV established themselves as a major player in the AAU basketball world.

"We just blessed to make it through another one." Holt said, after grinding out a emotionally taxing weekend.

"Special thanks to the team, the parents, the media, and lastly but most importantly,  the kids who came out and perfromed under intense conditions." Holt stated.

T3TV Combine Ready For Weekend; B2 Fighting Series Coming to Dayton; ATL Wins World Series; Who Did "Eric The Red" Pick?

ANNUAL T3TV COMBINE SET FOR WEEKEND EXPLOSION

Terry Holt, the CEO of T3TV, is ready for the 2nd annual T3TV Combine this weekend in Mason, Ohio. With over 500 kids in attendance, the energy will be incredible at Courts 4 Sports. 

However, it's not just that it will be 500+ kids at the event. It's the magnitude of the players. With the top ranked players from all over the country at the event from grades 2-10, it is slated to be one of the best events in the country in regards to youth sports. 

Holt would speak on the drastic change that has happened in a year and a half time.

"I never thought we would be in this position we are in. We ready for the event, as we have stepped up our game in all facets of our event. Its a honor to be in this position, as it have changed me and my families life. You can change your life, just gotta believe in yourself'" Holt stated. 

The event will start on Friday and will end on Sunday around 6pm. Friday night is Media Day, with some 1 on 1 challenges and some mingling involved.  

Saturday is when the teams and games will kickoff, starting at 9am and lasting until 10pm. It will go through Sunday, (8-2pm) where all-star teams and games will be held in the afternoon (3-5pm). 

With all of the the elite media companies in the building, along with some big names in the AAU and youth basketball community (Spencer Gilliam, John Stovall) this is literally one of the biggest events in the AAU domain in the country. 

 

And with pro athletes expected to show and support, there will no shortage of star power in the building.

Last year a plethora of athletes showed up, including Big 3 Star and former NBA Veteran Reggie Evans, former Michigan St alum Andre Hutson, and former Cincinnati Bengal Adam "Pac Man" Jones to name a few.

B2 FIGHTING SERIES HEADED TO CONVENTION CENTER; 

 "MINOR LEAGUE UFC" TO HOST NOV 6TH

The B2 Fighting Series is headed to Dayton, as the new unofficial "Minor League of MMA" fighting organization in America is bringing its elite program to the Dayton area. 

While that nickname hasn't fully caught on, the energy and passion of the fighters and the organization is building at a tremendous rate throughout the country that can't be denied.

While B2 has already been around for a while, they are starting to get much more recognition for being a top class and well ran fighting organization over the recent months. 

We talked to a couple of fighters who are on the card to fight on November 6th, with doors opening up at 7pm ET. 

  Elijah Woodroof and Robert "KO" Grigsby were on the S.E.Live 365 Show recently.

Woodroof, Grigsby, Ready For B2 Fight in Dayton

There were 2 things that stood out about the event. 

(1) How the Fighters respected the organization 

(2) How the Organization treats their players and workers

Woodroof and Grigsby will definitely be ready for war this weekend, as will all the fighters. Tickets are still on sale and will be until the night of the fight. B2 Fighting will have it on Pay Per View as well, if you are not able to attend the fight.

"I'm definitely excited to fight in my hometown. I was a little nervous in my previous fight. I'll definitely be more prepared this fight." Woodroof said.

"B2 Fighting treats you good man. They take care of us, which makes it easy to want to work with them. I thank them for this opportunity, and if you are a fighter, you want to contact them. They are great people to work with." KO Grigsby said.

 This game can be clean or dirty, but they treat you very well and keep it clean. Grigsby said in a matter of fact vibe which was echoed by all of the fighters and coaches during the interview.

The event will be at the Dayton Convention Center, in the heart of downtown Dayton. 

Atlanta Grabs 2021 World Series, Stops Houston 4-2

The Atlanta Braves jumped on the Astros early in Game 6, and the Braves would not let a comeback happen like they did in Game 5, as Atlanta are the 2021 Major League Champions.

 It is the 1st championship in Atlanta since the Braves back in the Bobby Cox, Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz era. 

In a series that was action packed from the start, the Braves won Game 1 to set the tone. Houston would bounce back in game 2 to even the series, as Altuve and Correra went off. 

But after Game 2, it was the Braves who went on to win the next 2  games and 3 of the next 4 to seal the deal and take control of the series. Atlanta would exhaust their pitching staff early in the series (due to injuries and a short rotation), but they would have a 3-1 lead with a chance to close it out at Turner Field.

In game 5, Houston took a 4-0 deficit and turned it into a 9-5 win, giving them hope going back home down 3-2 in the series and shocking the Braves and their fans. 

But Game 6 was all ATL, as the pitching staff was excellent and the bats got going and would not let up, ending in a 7-0 shutout win. Jubilation and a huge celebration occurred in Houston as the Braves grabbed their first title since the 90s. 

Eric Davis, a World Series Champion for the Reds in 90, would give us his take on the series and how he felt like it would play out. While Davis wanted Dusty to have success, Eric The Red had some real facts to spit when it came to talking about the World Series and ATL.

Congrats to the Braves and the city of Atlanta, who now has the Major League champion back in the A, which hadn't won anything for almost 3 decades. 

 As for Houston, they fell short and still will have to live with the conscience of winning their only title 3 years ago, under the circumstances that they cheated, which was proven right. Are they good enough to get back? Yes. But as we have seen over the years, can they navigate through all the obstacles and get there? 

"Coach Prime" Set To Watch Pac Man Boxing Debut Tomorrow Night

 Deion Sanders To Support "Pac Man" Jones at Rough N Rowdy Boxing Match

"Primetime" or "Coach Prime" could be in the building on Friday night for the boxing match that includes former NFL Legend Adam "Pac Man" Jones. 

Jones will be fighting tomorrow night against Bobby Laing, who is the current RnR Champion. 

The RnR is the Rough n Rowdy Boxing Association, which features local bouts in the Charleston, West Virginia community. 

Laing is 5-0, has talked a whole lot of trash and is ready to defend his title. If anyone knows Pac-Man, they know this was a challenge he could not refuse.

Nevermind the purse that Jones will grab for the bout. 

This has gotten personal.

So personal, that Jones has come into this bout in possibly the best shape of his life. 

So personal, that "PrimeTime" has noticed, and is very intrigued with this storyline.

While most athletes seem to fall into the sunset after their careers,  Jones seems to be revving up for more. The business side is going very well, but there is a real desire for Jones to test his limits, each and every day physically and mentally. 

When Jones saw that OchoCinco would jump in the ring, he started to think more seriously about it.

Once he talked to RnR reps, the stage was set.

Jones has came into this bout as physically and mentally prepared as ever. Maybe even more than in the NFL or college. 

"We used to fight everyday where im from. This is nothing new to me." Jones said. 

"Night Night Bobby Lights" Jones would say in his promo as he readied for the event. His team worked him hard, so he should be ready for war. 

  Will Deion Sanders, AKA Coach Prime be at RnR?

It will be 3 one minute rounds, so it will be very interesting to see the energy of the fight, so say the least. 

The bout is the headliner in a series of 20 fights on the card that night.

The event starts at 8pm and will be on Pay Per View. 

As Sanders said in a interview with Jones, "Man I need to see this!" 

Can Jones come in a knock off the Champion of RnR? And if he wins or loses, will he continue to fight? 

All we know is that tomorrow night, expect Jones, who played at West Virginia in college, to put on a show, one way or another.

Here’s the Top Headlines on some of the local boys and how they did in the NBA Summer League in Utah and Las Vegas. 

Toppin Shows Out, Readies For Bigger Role With NY 

Obi Toppin, the 1st round pick of the New York Knicks last season, got to experience his 1st ever NBA Summer League, after the Covid-19 pandemic shut it down last year.

Toppin showed that he will be a player the Knicks might need to make a deeper run this season. The 6’9 Toppin shot well from 3 and made strong moves and decisions all week long. He showed why he was a top pick, as he dropped 31 points and had a myriad of good showings in Vegas all week. 

Toppin was seen with Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau after the games, as Coach “Tibbs” was working with Toppin, as he may see as well that Toppin might need to see more time next year as the Knicks continue to get back to prominence.  They will definitely need Toppin to reach the next level. 

Trice, Crutcher, Land on Bucks Summer Squad; Trice Leaves Great Impression After Last Game 

D’Mitrik Trice, former Wisconsin Badger, and former  Dayton Flyer star guard Jalen Crutcher made their debuts this week for the Milwaukee Bucks summer League team as it was all week in Las Vegas.

With all the teams at the NBA Summer League, both guys got a legitimate chance to showcase their talents in front of the entire NBA network. 

Crutcher, who was the leader of arguably the greatest team in Dayton Flyer history two seasons ago, had a good senior year and now looks to latch on with the defending champs.

Crutcher had a nice Game 3 in the Summer League where he dropped 10 points on 4 of 5 shooting. He averaged 5ppg. 

Since leading Wisconsin last year, Trice has lit up every combine, every workout, and has showed out for the Bucks organization as well, showing he has what it takes to play in the league. 

Trice has risen his stock tremendously since the end of the college season and now sits with a real shot to make a NBA or G-League roster. 

 While there are limited jobs, especially in a championship organization, look for both of these guys to latch on to the NBA or G—League this upcoming season. 

Trice didn’t play much in the first couple of games, but showed in a brief period of time that he can not only play, but dominate as well, as his last game was lauded by the ESPN Broadcasters calling the game. 

Trice dropped 24 points and 3 assists in the final game that showed off his entire repertoire. Trice was hitting all types of shots, from layups over 7 footers (Thon Maker), mid-range pull-ups, off the dribble 3s, and everything else in between. His decision making was excellent,  and should go a long way on him getting into Bucks training camp.  

Watson on Hawks Roster 

Ibi Watson, another Flyer product, was on the Hawks roster, where he averaged 4.4 ppg. Watson had a game high of 8 points and played solid during his time with Atlanta.  

Watson is a sniper and should make the G-League roster.

"Deuce" McBride Makes Major Noise 

Miles McBride, a Cincinnati Moeller product and West Virginia star, was one of the surprise players before the draft. 

He is definitely not a surprise now, as he has shown he will be a force in the NBA with multiple double digit scoring games to go along with his great decision making and explosiveness. Add to that his ability to lock down on defense? 

Gary Payton told me, “Nobody play full court defense in the league no more,” McBride said in a interview.  "I wanted to show him I’m capable of doing that.” McBride stated. 

Don’t be surprised to see "Deuce" McBride in the Knicks rotation along with Obi Toppin.  He recently signed a 3-year deal with New York. He's a gritty guard with all the intangibles and crazy athleticism. 

Carlik Jones Leads Mavs, Has Solid Summer League Showing

Carlik Jones, drafted in the 2nd round by the Dallas Mavericks,  had a nice summer League as well. 

Jones would lead the Mavs to a win as he showed why he could be the future 2-guard playing alonside Luka Doncic.  He dropped  21 points in a undermanned win against the Miami Heat. 

What makes Jones dynamic is that he has that ability to play in all 3 facets: offense, defense, and intangibles. He's athletic, but can score and run the point, which is a big  key to him playing with possibly the best combo guard in the NBA right now. 

He had 6 boards and 5 dimes in that short handed win, which showcased his ability to do other things besides score.  

Teague Goes Hammer in Utah Summer League

MaCio Teague, guard for the Baylor Bears last year, has been picked up by the Utah Jazz, and he showed out in the Summer League in Utah, where he lead the Jazz to a huge victory, dropping 26 points in the process. Teague, a Cincinnati product, should be somewhere on the Jazz roster, whether its on the end of the Jazz bench or at the top of the G-League roster.
